Recommendations for Authors of the Bulletin

Before submitting a manuscript, please carefully review the requirements below. Manuscripts that do not comply with the journal’s requirements are not accepted for preliminary review and will be automatically rejected.

1. General Requirements and Formatting Standards

Manuscripts must comply with the recommendations of the European Association of Science Editors (EASE), APA Style (7th edition), and DSTU 7152:2020 “Publications. Layout of publications in journals and collections.” The journal adheres to the principles of academic integrity, transparent peer review, and ethical publishing standards.

2. Structure and Mandatory Elements of the Article

Each article must include (in the following order): UDC index; DOI (assigned by the publisher); author information; article title; abstract; keywords; main text; authors’ contributions (CRediT); acknowledgements and funding (if applicable); references; dates of submission, revision, and acceptance; translated title, author information, abstract, and keywords.

3. Author Information

Author information must include: full name; academic degree and academic title; ORCID iD; institutional (corporate) e-mail address; primary affiliation (official name of the institution), city, country. The order of authors must be agreed upon prior to submission; any changes after submission require the consent of all authors.

4. Article Title

The title should be clear, informative, understandable to specialists in related fields, 5–9 words in length, and free from vague phrases (e.g., “Some issues…”, “Problems of…”). For original research articles, indicating the study type (e.g., pilot study, survey results) is recommended.

5. Abstract and Keywords

The abstract is a key source of information for readers and databases. For original research articles, the abstract must be structured and include Background, Methods, Results, Conclusions; recommended length is 1,800–2,500 characters (including spaces). For review articles, the abstract may be unstructured and indicative.
Keywords: 4–8 for original research articles; 3–6 for review articles. Keywords should not repeat the article title.

6. Main Text of the Article

Length: original research articles — 3,000–8,000 words; review articles — 2,000–5,000 words.
Structure: original research articles must follow IMRAD (Background; Methods; Results; Discussion and Conclusions). Review articles follow IMRAD without the Methods section.

7. Tables and Figures

All tables and figures must be numbered with Arabic numerals, placed directly in the text, have informative titles/captions, and be explicitly referred to in the text. After acceptance, authors submit separate high-resolution image files (.tif, .jpg).

8. Authors’ Contributions, Acknowledgements, and Funding

Authors’ contributions must be specified according to the CRediT taxonomy. Acknowledgements and funding sources should be indicated where applicable; if there was no funding, this section should be omitted.

9. References and Citations

References must be formatted according to APA Style (7th edition). Articles in Ukrainian require two lists (References in the original language and References); articles in English require one list (References). In-text citations must follow APA guidelines.

10. Peer Review and Publication Ethics

The journal applies double-blind peer review. Authors submit two files: one with author information and one anonymized file for review. A statement declaring the absence of conflicts of interest must be included at the end of the article.
