Article Processing Charge

In accordance with Order No. 194-32 and the Regulations on the Provision of Paid Services by Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv for the publication and distribution of educational literature, teaching materials, scientific and methodological works, scientific and technical publications, periodicals, and other printed media through the Publishing and Printing Center “Kyiv University”, a paid service for the publication of articles in the scientific journals of the “Bulletin of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv” series has been introduced.

IMPORTANT! Payment is accepted only after successful peer review and formal acceptance of the article for publication in the journal.

The fee for editorial and publishing preparation of an article is UAH 1,800 per one publisher’s sheet (40,000 characters including spaces). The recommended length of an article is 0.5–1.5 publisher’s sheets.

Exempt from payment:

  • students and postgraduate students of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv;

  • academic and research staff of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv;

  • employees of other research institutions and higher education institutions with which Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv has concluded cooperation agreements, provided that these employees actively cooperate with the journal as reviewers and/or members of the editorial board (upon editorial submission confirming participation in peer review and/or editorial board activities).

Members of the editorial board and journal reviewers affiliated with research institutions or higher education institutions that do not have cooperation agreements with Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv (TSNUK) are entitled to one free publication per year, subject to a recommendation by the Editor-in-Chief.

If an article is prepared by employees of TSNUK or a partner university in co-authorship with researchers not affiliated with the University, the articles of TSNUK and partner-university employees are published free of charge, while the non-affiliated co-author pays one-half or one-third of the publication fee, depending on the number of authors.
