About the Journal
Bulletin of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv. Social Work is a peer-reviewed open-access scholarly journal aimed at disseminating the results of original theoretical and empirical research in the fields of social work, psychology, educational and pedagogical sciences.
Aims and Scope
The journal focuses on the development and promotion of evidence-based and scientifically grounded approaches in the theory and practice of social work, social pedagogy, psychology, and education. It seeks to integrate Ukrainian academic research into the international scholarly community and encourages interdisciplinary studies with both theoretical significance and practical relevance.
Open Access Policy
The journal follows an open access policy, providing free, immediate, and permanent access to the full texts of all published articles without registration or subscription. This policy supports the global exchange of knowledge and enhances the visibility and impact of research outputs.
Peer Review and Publication Ethics
All submitted manuscripts undergo double-blind peer review. The journal adheres to the principles of academic integrity, publication ethics, and international best practices, including the recommendations of COPE. Editorial processes are conducted with strict respect for the confidentiality of authors’ and reviewers’ personal data.
Copyright and Licensing
Authors retain the copyright to their published works. Journal content is distributed under open-access terms with mandatory attribution of authorship and source. Conditions for the reuse of published materials are defined in the journal’s editorial policies.
Financial Policy
The journal applies a transparent financial policy. Editorial and publishing fees are charged only after successful peer review and formal acceptance of the manuscript for publication. The amount of the fee is fixed at the time of submission and cannot be changed thereafter.
Archiving and Preservation
To ensure long-term preservation of scholarly content, the journal uses the standard archiving mechanisms of the OJS platform and supports reliable digital preservation policies for all published materials.

The journal was established in 2016. The founder and publisher is Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv.
